just parent is now on Android

Native mobile for Android is here. Available now on Google Play, feature-rich, privacy-first, and built the right way.

We've been working toward this for a while, and today it's here. Just parent is now available as a native Android app on Google Play.

This isn't a web wrapper. It's a proper native mobile app built for Android, covering almost the entire surface area of the platform: messaging, custody schedules, expense tracking, the journal, and more.

Here's what went into it, and why we think it matters.

Native mobile, built for Android

The goal from the start was a native experience. Co-parenting apps get used in real moments: at drop-off, after a school call, when something needs to go on the record fast. A clunky experience at those moments is the last thing anyone needs.

The Android app is designed to feel like it belongs on the platform. It's responsive, it's fast, and it covers the features co-parents actually use day to day.

Privacy travels with the app

The same privacy commitment that exists in the web app lives in the Android app. No third-party ad trackers. No behavioral profiling. No data sold to brokers or advertising partners.

Co-parenting data is some of the most sensitive information families generate. Moving it to a mobile app didn't change that, and it didn't change how we handle it.

  • Zero ad trackers in the Android app.
  • No data sold, shared, or profiled for advertising.
  • Messages remain timestamped, immutable, and on the record.

First submission. First approval.

Google Play approved just parent on the first review submission. No rejections, no policy flags, no back-and-forth.

That's not luck. It reflects the way the app was built: privacy policies in order, permissions scoped correctly, data handling documented clearly. The standard Google requires is the standard we were already holding ourselves to.

Something else is coming

We'll keep this brief. There's another platform announcement coming in the not-too-distant future. We're not naming it yet, but if the shape of a bitten piece of fruit comes to mind, your instincts are probably right.

More soon.

Try it and tell us what you think

If you're on Android, the app is available now on Google Play. We'd genuinely love to hear what you think. The early feedback from users shapes what we build next, and mobile is a big part of where this is going.

Native Android, built right, available now.

If you're navigating co-parenting and want a purpose-built tool that works on your phone without trading your family's data for access, this is it. Download just parent on Google Play and let us know what you think.
