A tool you can recommend to clients

Just parent is built around structured communication, bilateral agreements, and immutable records. Here’s what the product looks like - and what it isn't.

The record format your clients will use

Every message is timestamped at send and cannot be altered. Expense records include receipts, agreed splits, and approval status. The export is a PDF your clients can share with their lawyer, parenting coordinator, or the court.

Read receipts show when a message was opened. Response window compliance is logged. The record is complete.

Both parents signed off. The record shows it.

Our Agreement is the feature that matters most in contested situations. No policy - expense splits, holiday rules, custody schedule changes - takes effect without both parents accepting it. Every confirmation is timestamped.

When a client says “I thought we agreed on 60/40”, the answer isn't “that's what you told me” - it's the date both parents confirmed it in the app.

You always do this... I'm done having this conversation until...
Cool-off invoked

A documented de-escalation event

The Cool-Off Button doesn’t just pause messaging. It creates a record. The log shows which parent invoked it, the time, and when messaging resumed. That’s a fact pattern, not just someone’s account of events.

This is the feature most parenting coordinators and family lawyers ask about when they first see the product. It converts a common conflict pattern - the escalating exchange - into a documented, timestamped event.

Your clients’ data stays theirs

Co-parenting data is among the most sensitive information that exists. Just parent is built around that reality: data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to train AI models.

Each family’s data is tenant-isolated - no AI feature, no engineer, no query can cross family boundaries. Your clients’ records are accessible only to the two parents and any shared key contacts they choose to add.

Accessible to all your clients

One household subscription covers both parents. $120 USD per year - less than many monthly apps cost each parent. There’s also a Real Free plan with no card required, covering messaging, journaling, expenses, and the custody calendar with 30-day history caps.

Clients in hardship situations can start with the free plan. The free plan never expires and requires no credit card.

What to tell your clients

Just parent is a co-parenting coordination tool. It’s not a court-ordered monitoring platform and it’s not surveillance software. Both parents choose to use it.

We have court-admissible records. We don’t have the multi-year precedent of OurFamilyWizard in specific jurisdictions.

If your client’s lawyer specifically asked for OurFamilyWizard or TalkingParents, use what their lawyer asked for.

The tool is designed to reduce conflict, not document it for litigation. The record is a byproduct of structured communication, not the goal.

We’re newer. We take that seriously and we’re building towards it.
